In the peanuts mood

All you really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.

Lucy: Charlie Brown, life is like a deck chair on a cruise ship. Passengers open up these canvas deck chairs so they can sit in the sun. Some people place their chairs facing the rear of the ship so they can see where they've been. Other people face their chairs forward - they want to see where they're going. On the cruise ship of life, which way is your deck chair facing?

Charlie Brown: "I've never been able to get one unfolded."

All my life I've wanted to talk in Peanuts quotes and Peanuts quotes only.

My personal favourite is the one where Linus and Lucy are looking for shapes in the clouds, they see St.John prophesying in the temple and a minotaur.

Then Charlie Brown says "I thought I'd say I saw a horsie and a doggie, but I changed my mind."

Oh yes, now I remember that gem. And by the way, would you know someplace on the net where one can find : "Sometimes I lie awake in bed", the complete series?
A bit off-topic, Sire, but since you claim to own him, can you tell us who is the Real Doyalbaba?

I love to take a breather at PEANUTS, though I am ardent an admirer of "Calvin & Hobbes" and "Astérix le Gaulois"

tend to get a little bit more especially when Charlie Brown's infatuation or true love for the Little Red Haired girl..I find the whole spread of situations quite cute & giggles-worthy

...“If I stand here, I can see the Little Red Haired girl when she comes out of her house... Of course, if she sees me peeking around this tree, she'll think I'm the dumbest person in the world... But if I don't peek around the tree, I'll never see her... Which means I probably AM the dumbest person in the world... which explains why I'm standing in a batch of poison oak.”

u have a good collection on your blog..will read u regularly

Thanks. Do keep dropping by. My writing will be occasional at the best. Please grin and bear. I can't write anything on topics of public interest, either. Like Snoopy said, "What a great title for my new book. . . . Things I've Learned After It Was Too Late". That'll be my autobiography.
